Kovářská (Schmiedeberg) in the Bohemian part of the Ore Mountains is the starting point for numerous hikes through a unique natural landscape. The former limestone quarry Schmiedeberg is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Montanregion Erzgebirge. The landscape offers unique views of the highest peaks of the Ore Mountains – simply beautiful.

From the train station in Kovářská (Schmiedeberg) in the Bohemian part of the Ore Mountains, there is a great view of the 1,244-meter-high Klínovec (Keilberg). The railway line runs from Vejprty (Weipert) to Chomutov (Komotau) and is currently only used for tourist traffic on weekends.
