Hiking can be thoroughly enjoyed on the Annaberger-Landring. This picturesque cycling and hiking trail stretches over an impressive 55 kilometers, offering both locals and visitors the chance to explore the beauty of the region. The Landring is divided into a North and South Ring, each approximately 30 kilometers long, connected by a cross-link.
Another highlight in the region is the nature trail “Rosehip Trail”, which stretches between the towns of Mildenau, Geyersdorf, and Königswalde. This trail meanders along fields, old agricultural paths, and provides breathtaking viewpoints such as the Pöhlberg.
In areas not intensely managed by humans, a fascinating landscape of hedgerows with a variety of interesting species and inhabitants has developed. The Rosehip Trail introduces visitors with its mascot, the rosehip, to the unique flora and fauna of this region. The trail covers about ten kilometers and is suitable for both hiking and cycling.
