From the train station in Kovářská (Schmiedeberg) in the Bohemian part of the Ore Mountains, there is a great view of the 1,244-meter-high Klínovec (Keilberg). The railway line runs from Vejprty (Weipert) to Chomutov (Komotau) and is currently only used for tourist traffic on weekends.

Even on days with overcast skies, a hike in nature can be relaxing. On the 965-meter-high Velký Špičák (Great Spitzberg, also Schmiedeberger Spitzberg) in the Bohemian part of the Erzgebirge, there is always a refreshing breeze. Despite the cloud cover, visibility was quite good.
